Social worker, Children and Families Neighbourhood

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within a children and families neighbourhood team based in Luton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Undertaking assessments of, and provide support to, Adopters/Carers within the parameters of local and national guidelines & standards
- Holding a caseload of varying complexity, commensurate with experience, receiving requests for assessment, advice and support relevant tot heir service area
- Maintaining file records and supervision records relating to carers, ensuring files are fit for purpose.

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
