    Social Worker, Children and Families

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time in a children and families team based in Argyll and Bute. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Contributing to the development and improvement of Social Work Services and to promote public understanding of these services
    - To undertake assessments of service user's needs and devise appropriate multi-disciplinary planning and care plan processes
    - To undertake direct work and other identified tasks with vulnerable children and their parents or carers as identified in the child's plan
    - To provide written reports and maintain appropriate departmental records

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
