    Social Worker, Children and Families

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time in a children and families team based in Kingston Upon Hull. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £24 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Ensure that children and young people and carers are enabled to participate fully in planning and decision making
    - Undertake any other duties as may be required form time to time commensurate with the level of post
    - Maintain knowledge of relevant research, government guidance, legislation and best practice in relation to child care and the specialist service area to which appointed

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Signed and authenticated references to fully cover the last 5 years
