    Social worker, Children and Families Assessment

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work within a children and families assessment team based in Maidstone. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is up to £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Contributing to and review the development of ongoing initiatives to achieve a more effective use of resources within Children & Families Services
    - MaintainING a personal awareness of legislation, departmental and corporate policies and procedures, particularly those relating to Looked After Children, Children in Need and Child Protection

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
