    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker within a Child Exploitation Team based in Wakefield. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The starting pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £29.99 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Our specialist Social Work Team provides intensive one-to-one direct work to young people. The aim of our intervention is to reduce the risk of Child Exploitation to young people, to educate, and to give young people the tools they need to recognise the warning signs, keep themselves safe, know where to get support and know how to report anything they are worried about.

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
    - 3 years post qualifying experience and have experience in completing intense direct work with children and young people and their families and in completing risk assessments.
