Social Worker, Assessment
Permanent | Guildford| Salary of £33,332 - £38,312 per annum

Sanctuary Social Care are looking for a hand working, motivated social worler to work in a permanent role, within an assessment team based in Guildford, Surrey.

As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £33,332 - £38,312 per annum.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- You will undertake assessments of children through direct work
- Work with families and partnership organisations

Within the role you will be expected to maintain high standards of professional practice, working at all times in the best interests of children and young people, ensuring that there are clear evidence based assessments and plans in place on all allocated cases and who have the ability to convey their analysis and planning through presentation and written reports.

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Have completed the Assessed and Supported Year of Employment (ASYE)
- A broad knowledge of social work practice and legislation, including safeguarding
- An ability to demonstrate excellent assessment and analysis skills
- Have full UK driver licence and a daily access to a car
- An enhanced DBS will be required for this role.
