Sanctuary Social Care currently has two permanent vacancies for two social workers to work full-time within an assessment and short-term intervention team. One role is based in South Birmingham and one is based in East Birmingham. As the post holder of these roles, you will receive a competitive salary of £29,470 - £36,136 per annum.

Staff Benefits:
- £3,000 incentive (subject to tax & national insurance deductions), if you have three years or more post qualification experience when you join us
- £2,400 retention payment after you've given us two years' continuous service
- A generous relocation offer if you join us from outside the West Midlands (applicable for senior social workers and above)
- Career Average Revalued Earnings (CARE) pension scheme with significant employer contributions for all employees - Payment of HCPC registration fees
- Golden Hello - £3,000 with candidates that have more than 3 years post qualification experience.
- Retention Payment - £2,400 per annum paid quarterly at £600 per quarter to all qualified social work staff during their 3rd year of Trust employment and in subsequent years of employment subject to review and ongoing justification.
- Relocation payment:
- Grade 5 and above frontline social care professionals eligible to receive up to £8000 if they are moving within the boundaries of Birmingham; up to £4000 if moving to a commutable distance.
- Grade 4 and those not eligible for the above are entitled to apply for the Trust's relocation package of up to £6000 same conditions apply

- To be responsible for a caseload of children and young people ensuring legislative requirements are met.
- To collect, accurately record, using management information systems, and critically analyse all relevant information and take appropriate actions to fulfil statutory responsibilities to promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of the child/young people.
- To ensure the well-being and safety of the child/young person is paramount through analysing all necessary information to complete assessments that comply with statutory requirements.
- To create and plan for children in need of protection and children in care involving multi agency partners according to need.
- To implement, monitor and review within multi-agency meetings, children's plans to ensure needs are being met.
- Ensure that meetings are proactive and timely; and meet the child's/young person's needs, wishes and feelings.

Requirements of the social workers:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
