Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker within an Assessment and Intervention team based in Harlow.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £207 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

Job duties:
- Undertaking incoming assessment and short term intervention work
Dealing with section 47 child protection enquires and work jointly with the police and other partners in assessing immediate risk for children that come to our attestation
- Transfer cases into longer term teams should families require longer term intervention or the children become subject to a child protection plan or come into care of the local authority.
- Undertake incoming assessment and short-term intervention work with families.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must be a car driver
