    Social worker, Assessment and Intervention

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work within an assessment and intervention team based in Chelmsford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £207 per day (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Undertaking parenting and risk assessments
    - Providing supervision when required
    - Organising and managing care plans
    - Providing an effective and efficient assessment, protection and care planning service to children in need and their families via assessment, children in need, children looked after, YOT and family placement teams

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Must hold a full driving licence with access to a car
