    Are you interesting in developing your Social Work career?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full-time in an Adults Team based in Reading. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £32 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Duties:
    - To support young adults entering adulthood and promote independence.
    - To support carers and young people's families.
    - To provide the highest standard of care and commitment to supporting young people with disabilities in ensuring that as a transition service we are contributing to the outcomes set in 'The Care Act', 'The Children & Families Act' and related Guidance.
    - To work effectively with partnership agencies including health and education to ensure that all agencies are working towards the same outcomes for young people and contribute to Education, Health and Care plans as appropriate.

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
    - Current HCPC registration.
    - Significant experience of work within mental health and/or Adult services.
