Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an adults team based in the Isle Wight. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

You must:
- See working under pressure as a challenge
- Work positively with transformation and change
- Be able to carry a caseload of complex cases and be able to evidence base and agree a plane of action for case transfer
- Have a clear, direct knowledge and experience in working with safeguarding and making safeguarding personal
- Work well within a multi-agency team
- Offer support, to social care staff and guidance around all aspects of adult social care
- Have a clear understanding of and experience working with adults social care statutory duties under the care act 2014, mental health act, mental capacity act and other primary legislation and guidance including continuing healthcare
- Record to a high standard and evidence base work
- Demonstrate in all aspects of working a person-centred approach

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
- Mental health experience
