Social Worker, Adults Team

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for two experienced and dedicated social workers to work full time within an adults team based in East Lothian. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the SSSC.

The pay rate for these locum social worker jobs are £30 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and are initial 3-month contracts.

The first post will require someone who has experience of completing Self Directed Support Assessments and Support Plans and has a history of working with a range of adult client groups and carers, especially people with learning disabilities requiring a high level of support in the community. Preferably someone with experience as a council officer under the Adult Support and Protection Act
The second post will require a Social Worker to carry out assessments for hospital discharges and review care home placements. This post is largely working with older people. Preferably someone with experience as a council officer under the Adult Support and Protection Act.

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current SSSC registration
- Significant level frontline experience within adult services
- Must be a car driver, with access to a car.
