Social Worker, Adults Neighbourhood

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an adults neighbourhood team based in Liverpool. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £21.58 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Undertaking a range of tasks which could include investigation of adult safeguarding issues, carrying out assessments of need, analysis and planning, assessing and managing risk, commissioning support and reviewing
- Working with a range of legal interventions and departmental policies and procedures to support outcomes based planning for adults
- Maintaining good case recording and present reports to panels and in court as appropriate

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
