    Social Worker, Adults Locality

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an adults locality team based in Dorking. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Engaging with individuals, families, groups and communities to assess and intervene, and using professional judgement, employ a range of interventions promoting choice, control and independence
    - Assisting with the duty/intake function of the team as required
    - Providing immediate professional guidance on urgent issues

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
    - Experience within an adults statutory setting
    - Able to work effectively autonomously and be able to demonstrate good work throughput skills and problem solve efficiently
