    Are you interesting in developing your Social Work career?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within an Adults Learning Disabilities Team based in Christchurch. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent).


    The candidate needs to have community experience in working with people with a learning disability and have a social work qualification.
    - Carrying a caseload of adults with either Learning or Physical Disabilities
    - Working within the care act and 'Putting People First'
    - Promoting autonomy, independence, choice and wellbeing
    - Carrying out a range of high quality assessments, re-assessments including mental Capacity Act assessments, need assessments, risk assessments
    - Carrying out safeguarding investigations
    - Identifying the needs of clients and mobilising available resources

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
    - Current HCPC registration.
    - Significant frontline experience within Adult Services
