Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full time within Social Work Adults communities team based in Knowsley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £31.15 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services.
- Experience within an Acute hospital Discharge setting.

A social worker is required for a busy communities team. The team work with long term and complex individuals completing transition assessments and care planning, COPDoL11 work, Court of Protection work, Care Act assessments and care planning, Mental Capacity and Best Interests work. We work across all service user groups (learning disability, older people, EMI and physical disability and mental health. A candidate who is experienced, can hit the ground running and is used to carrying a large, varied and complex case load is required for immediate start. We use Liquid Logic so skills in this area are preferential also.
