Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an adults team based in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 1-month contract.

You will:
- Work with and support a wide range of people whose situations are complex and challenging and who are vulnerable or disadvantaged in some way, including Adult Safeguarding work and mental capacity work
- Work as a professional Social Worker, to play a key role in promoting personalisation, independence, well-being and choice by providing a Social Care service to customers, carrying out complex asset-based assessments/ reviews, short term enablement plans (STEPs), support plans & safeguarding plans

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
