    Are you interesting in developing your Social Work career?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for 2x experienced and dedicated Social Workers to work in an Adults Duty Team based in Croydon. The ideal candidates will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rates for these locum Social Workers job is £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and are ongoing contracts.

    Requirements of the Social Workers:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
    - Current HCPC registration.
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services.

    Duties:
    - To have knowledge around CLS and participate in multi-disciplinary working to explore community resources to support residents to draw on resources in their local communities to prevent crisis and enhance their wellbeing.
    - To undertake over the phone initial assessments including risk assessments, signposting, respond to enquiries and to implement support packages where required as well as reviewing existing care packages to minimise identified risks.
    - Participate in face to face Care Act Asset-Based Assessments in crisis situation and implement any support necessary to minimise the risks identified and ensure practice is underpinned by the principles of the Care Act.
    - To triage safeguarding initial concerns, information gathering and participating in SAM discussions to determine whether concerns requires formal Section 42 or transfer for care management.
    Work in partnership with individuals, carers and family members in line with Making Safeguarding Personal.
    - To ensure a high standard of case recording
    - To undertake welfare checks in response to urgent safeguarding concerns
    To complete risk assessments and implement protection plans as required as part of crisis intervention roles and responsibilities.
    - Complete Court reports as required
    - Manage and prioritise own caseload
