    Description

    Are you looking for a new social work role in Knowsley?

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for a Social Worker to work full-time within an Adults Community Team based in Knowsley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this full-time role is £31.15 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Duties:
    - Working with individuals across all disciplines.
    - The team is fast paced and works with the longer term complexities of social work including drug and alcohol, older people, EMI, learning disability, transitions and some mental health.
    - Court of protection work in terms of welfare issues, finance issues, COPDoL11 and Section 21a is necessary.
    - Enhanced knowledge of care planning, personalisation and direct payments needed.

    Requirements:
    - HCPC Registration as a Social Worker.
    - A Social Care qualification.
    - Experience of providing information and advice to customers.
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Adults services.
    - Experience of carrying a high, wide and varied caseload who can complete assessments in line with all adult social care legislation and navigate liquid logic to an excellent standard.
