    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker to work full time within an adults community team in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum social worker job is £28 - £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social worker:
    - Undertake assessments of individual and carers needs and risk to encourage independence, provide support and prevent harm. This includes promoting a multi-agency approach by developing and maintaining effective working relationships
    - Hold a caseload appropriate to the level of expertise and provide support and expert advice to social care assessors, students and partners
    - Contribute to the continuous improvement of the service of the Boroughs of Wandsworth and Richmond
    - Comply with relevant codes of practice, including the code of conduct and policies concerning data protection and health and safety
    - Support ways of working that ensure that residents and stakeholders are actively engage in the future of the service and are able to influence decision making

    Requirements of the social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
