Social worker, Adults Community Independence Service

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated social worker within an adults community independence service based in Kensington and Chelsea. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum social worker job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the social worker:
- Developing an understanding of a variety of methods of overcoming and managing problems of daily living clients, relatives and carers on their application, suitability and safe usage.
- Undertaking placements within the different disciplines within the assessment services and participate in their duty service
- Involving users and carers in the monitoring and evaluation of the service

Requirements of the social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Must have two years post qualified experience
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
