Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work full time within an Adoption Team based in Sutton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £34 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the Social Worker:
- Undertaking PAR's on prospective adopters (supporting applicants through stage 1 and 2 of the process), running Preparation groups for prospective adopters, facilitating information sessions for people considering adoption
- Family finding for children needing adoptive and long term foster placements, making referrals to the adoption support fund and offering post adoption support when necessary
- Direct work with children and will also undertaking life story work and completing a letter for later life

Requirements of the Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
