    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Social Worker to work within an Active Recovery Service based in Hull. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum Social Worker job is £34.89 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 3-month contract.

    Job Purpose:
    Active Recovery is used to proactively work with people over a defined period of time to achieve goals with the overall aim of maximising their independence, health and quality of life. It is aimed at adults who have a new or longer term need for services but could be supported to recover or minimise their needs, reducing reliance on longer term care.

    Active Recovery operates differently from traditional home care as it focuses on helping people regain the ability to do as much for themselves as possible rather than doing things for them - demonstrating how to achieve something and then gradually standing back to encourage people to develop these skills Rapid Recovery is working with people placed into step down/respite beds to support them home as quickly as possible.

    Requirements of the Social Worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
    - Current HCPC registration.
    - Significant frontline experience within Adult Services.
