    Social Care Officer, Children and Young People

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for a social care officer to work full time within a children and young people's team in Angus. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the SSSC.

    The pay rate for this locum social care officer job is £16 - £18 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the social care officers:
    - Contribute to the preparation and presentation of written records, assessments and formal reports relating to the children and young people
    - Undertake co-working responsibilities which will include individual and group work
    - Participate in continuous professional development, and contribute to the learning of others
    - Ensure that the children, young people and their families are consulted, informed and supported.

    Requirements of the social care officers:
    - Registration with SSSC
    - Full, current driving licence
