Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Service Manager to fill a full-time role in an Older People Physical Disabilities Team based in Swindon. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this permanent Service Manager job is paying between £50,000 to £60,000 per annum.

Duties:
- As Service Manager you will manage the day to day operational delivery of these key teams. You will demonstrate excellent leadership skills and support the teams to ensure delivery of statutory duties to agreed outputs and outcomes.
- We are looking for someone who will lead our established MCA & DoLS team, working alongside the programme lead, to ensure the service continues to meet the demands and ensure the teams and wider service areas are prepared for the implications of changes to the legal framework (Liberty Safeguards).
- Lead our Social Work and Approved Mental Health Practitioner (AMHP) Leads supporting a team of Social Workers and AMPHP's, who work in an integrated health setting.
- Promoting a strength based practice to social care that demonstrate a person centred approach, that fully utilises the skills and resources within the network of families, friends and communities in helping people to help themselves where possible.
- Working to support our new Team Manager to grow and transform our Safeguarding Team to be able to respond to Safeguarding concerns in a timely and effective manner, supporting the team to fully bed the Making Safeguarding Personal principles.

Requirements of a Service Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
