Service Manager, Adult Social Care
Permanent | Luton Borough Council |Salary of £56,400 - £62,700 per annum

Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Luton for a service manager to work within adult social services. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £56,400 - £62,700 per annum.

Responsibilities of the service manager:
- Providing strategic management to the Assessment and Support Planning Service ensuring the principles of personalisation and adult safeguarding are embedded into practice
- Strategically working at a high level with other Departments, statutory agencies, the voluntary sector, service users and carers, to ensure that services are jointly planned and strategically driven with a focus upon outcomes
- Developing strategic objectives for the service area, ensure they are met and that meaningful and detailed management and performance information is generated to demonstrate they are being met

Requirements of the service manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
- Several years experience at Service Manager level in Adult Social Car
- Have extensive knowledge and understanding of the Care and MH Acts
