Service Co-ordinator, Child Protection Conferences

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced service co-ordinator to work in Surrey. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum service co-ordinator job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the service co-ordinator:
- To ensure safe practice of all agencies working with children by advising operational and strategic managers on the management of allegations and coordinating risk management strategies
- To manage the provision of child protection conferences, complex strategy meetings and child care reviews.

Requirements of the service co-ordinator:
- Degree of equivalent professional qualification plus substantial experience at a senior management level in a specialist area
- Comprehensive knowledge of computerised business systems
- Experience in successful leading, coaching, mentoring and developing of staff
