Sanctuary Social Care is recruiting for a persistent and reliable senior social worker to start work full time within a referral and assessment team in Croydon.

The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum senior social worker job is £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

The candidate should have excellent risk assessment skills, be able to manage a complex caseload, able to meet timescales for completion of assessments and section 47 enquiries and be focused on evidencing direct work with children, via direct work with children.

Requirements of the senior social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience within similar roles
- Experienced (over 3 years) advanced social work practitioner with at least 2 years' experience of referral and assessment work to work in referral and assessment
