Sanctuary Social Care is looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Social Worker to work within a Children's Team based in Norfolk. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker:
- Provide outstanding services to Children In Need or at risk of harm and their families living in Norfolk, to bring about life long change and improved outcomes
- Ensure children and young people are adequately protected in line with the local Safeguarding Children board (LSCB) and departmental policy and procedures relevant legislation
- Deliver high quality Social Work practice and utilise specialist knowledge to carry out in depth family assessment of social need and risk to children
- Hold a caseload of the most complex cases
-Lead child centred assessments using professional curiosity, which involve key family members, professional s and consider each child's identity, experiences and social circumstances

Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services
