    Senior Social Worker, Fostering

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior social worker to work full time within a fostering team based in Stratford. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum senior social worker job is £25 - £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the senior social worker:
    - Ensuring that all work is completed within the stated timescales in accordance with both national and local policy
    - Manging a mixed caseload, including challenging cases that involve vulnerable children and families with complex problems
    - Undertake safeguarding investigations, attend strategy meetings, case conferences and reviews as required, and if appropriate perform the lead professional role.

    Requirements of the senior social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
    - Experience of completing fostering and SGO assessments
