Senior social Worker, Children and Families Assessment

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior social worker to work full time within a children and families assessment team based in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of senior social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum senior social worker job is £29.97 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the senior social worker:
- Maintain a more complex caseload including safeguarding at work
- Liaise and negotiate with local providers and support networks to deliver better outcomes
- Organise and manage your workload independently under the supervision and guidance of the senior practitioner and/or team manager
- Provide professional detailed information, advice and support to service users and their carers

Requirements of the senior social worker:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
