    Senior social Worker, Children and Families Assessment

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior social worker to work full time within a children and families assessment team based in Great Yarmouth. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of senior social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum senior social worker job is £32 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the senior social worker:
    - Expected to hold up to 20 cases of varying complexity
    - Identifying and assessing levels of risk and need
    - Maintaining up to date assessments, care plans and reviews for all cases
    - Contributing to team meetings
    - Attending a range of meetings including child protection case conferences
    - Providing mentoring to staff around domestic abuse
    - Ensuring that children, young people, their families and other carers are given advice/information on how to complain/make representation about the service received

    Requirements of the senior social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
