Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior social worker to work full time within an adults community team based in Reading. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of
Social Work practice in Adult Services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Senior Social Worker job is £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities of the Senior Social Worker:
- Carry out Care Act assessments
- Safeguarding - to be able to identify risk and make appropriate risk management plans, encourage positive risk taking, uphold principles of making safeguarding personal

Requirements of the Senior Social Worker:
- Degree or equivalent in Social Work.
- Current HCPC registration.
- Significant senior level frontline experience within Adult Services
- Car driver
- Experience of managing unqualified staff (will be supporting 2 members of unqualified staff on duty)
- Experience in working with MCA, Care Act, Community DoLs, Children and Families Act 2014 and SEND reforms
