    Senior Practitioner, Youth Offending


    Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy based in Bexley for a Senior Practitioner to work full-time within a Youth Offending Service. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of Social Work Practice in Children's Services and be registered with the HCPC.

    As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £39,048 - £47,211 per annum.

    Job Purpose:
    - The service is multi-agency and co-ordinates and delivers all youth justice services for children and young people aged 10-17 years who have been referred by the police or Courts
    - The YOS is co-located with education and children's social care and supports children and families through challenging times, whilst being attentive to safeguarding, public protection and the wider harm that their behaviour can have in the community
    - The work may involve helping them to engage in reparation, safeguarding or providing practical support with education or substance misuse and a part is to support children and young people to engage and comply with court orders, bail supervision or out of court disposals

    Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in Social Work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within Children's Services.
