Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Senior Practitioner to work within a Safeguarding Team based in Burton. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services.

The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £32.34 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

Requirements of the Senior Practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Current HCPC registration
- Acknowledged depth of expertise, including the assessment and appropriate management of risk
- 5 years post qualifying experience with a recognised certificate in a child and families social care related subject

- Developing effective practice through direct development of others and through driving practice improvement across the service by actively participating in process/procedure and policy/strategy development.
- Dealing with the most complex cases, partly in order to maintain credibility and experience in the field.
- Practice will be recognised as exemplary, and provide leadership and professional wisdom to their colleagues and other professionals for work in situations of high complexity.
