    Senior Practitioner, Mental Health Team

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within a mental health team based in Newham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £32 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Senior Practitioner duties include:
    - Participating in the provision of effective assessment of individuals with mental health problems and to manage a small and complex caseload acting as case manager. It is a requirement that all staff have to be AMHPs therefore the post holder will be committed to train as an AMHP or be working as an AMHP currently.
    - Responsible for providing supervision to staff including social workers, support workers and approved mental health professionals.
    - Supporting the team manager operationally and act on the team manager's behalf when directed/required.

    Requirements of the senior practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience with adult services
