    Senior Practitioner, Looked After Children / Leaving Care

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within a children's team based in Lewisham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £35 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the senior practitioner:
    - Providing ongoing timely assessment, planning, implementation and review for allocated cases, working in partnership with children, young people and families, and other partner agencies
    - Undertaking effective analysis and management of risk for allocated children/young people, under the supervision of the team manager
    - Re-assessing children/young people's needs in the light of changes in circumstances, behaviour and family situation, etc. and undertake direct work with children/young people

    Requirements of the senior practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's service
