Senior Practitioner, Looked after Children

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work within a looked after children team based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £26 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the senior practitioner:
- Maintaining high standards of professional practice within their own workload and to promote and enhance such practice within the team and division
- Ensuring that services are efficiently and effectively provided, liaising as necessary with other divisions, Council Departments, N.H.S. trusts, schools, carers, voluntary and independent sector providers
- Maintaining professional standards of practice and to work in accordance with the Departmental vision, values, procedures and managerial guidance.

Requirements of the senior practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
