Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within a first contact/MASH team based in Durham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £214 (LTD Company Equivalent) per day and is an initial 5-month contract.

You will build a vast and holistic knowledge base to reflect the variety and extent and range of cases. First Contact and the MASH is a multi-agency environment enabling and building positive relationship with multi agency partners, other local authorities and our Children's services teams and early help services.

- You will be responsible for identifying and directing contacts and referrals to the appropriate levels, overviewing evidential decision making and directing to different sources.

Requirements of the senior practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- 2 years (must have R&A or MASH)
