Senior Practitioner, Children with Disabilities

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work within a children with disabilities team based in Durham. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £214.69 (LTD Company Equivalent) per day and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the senior practitioner:
- Proactively take a lead role in practice development and support the Service management team in the development of a learning culture
- Develop relevant knowledge, and transfer this to staff within the team and partners so that practice and outcomes for children & Young people are continuously improved

Requirements of the senior practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
- Must be over 3 years qualified with senior experience within child protection and referral and assessment backgrounds.
