    Senior Practitioner, Children's Team

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within a children's team based in Tameside. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £30 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the senior practitioner:
    - Managing a caseload of complex and difficult cases to a high standard to ensure resources are utilised effectively and the post holder maintains their continuous professional development in social work practice
    - Attending court, where appropriate, to assist the team in ensuring that key professional input and expertise is provided to high profile and sensitive cases
    - Undertaking staff supervision as directed by the Team Leader according to the needs of the team

    Requirements of the senior practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
