    Senior Practitioner, Assessment and Intervention

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within an assessment and intervention team based in Tower Hamlets. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £34 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    Senior practitioner duties include:
    - Undertake assessment and planning for safeguarding in more complex cases, and help others with safeguarding skills
    - Be able to gather information quickly and effectively so as to inform judgement for interventions including in crises, and in response to challenge
    - To anticipate, assess and manage risk, including in more complex cases, and support others to develop risk management skills.

    Requirements of the senior practitioner:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
