Senior Practitioner, Access and Assessment

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated senior practitioner to work full time within an access and assessment team based in Tower Hamlets. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum senior practitioner job is £34 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the senior practitioner:
- To undertake staff development and training as per the Team Plan and in line with the Adult Social Care staff development framework
- To provide a high quality resource of professional advice, guidance and expertise
- To support the Team Manager in managing the development of the team's knowledge base and expertise as well as supporting the day to day management of the team to ensure services are delivered and meet the standards required.

Requirements of the senior practitioner:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult's services
