Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced Senior Care Manager to work based in Bromley. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in adult services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum Care Manager job is £30 - £35 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and is an initial 3-month contract.

- To promote and maintain independence for vulnerable adults
- To protect adults at risk by the use of procedures to safeguard adults from abuse.
- To assess the needs of Adults and their Carers in line with LB Bromley procedures based on the Care Act 2014 and other relevant legislation
- With the Adult and Carer, formulate and implement personal budgets and support plans
- Monitor, review and evaluate support plans including direct payments in order to ensure that they are consistent with eligible need.
- Provide supervision, support and advice to other team members and deputise for the Team Leader.
- Through the assessment and prioritisation of need, purchase appropriate services and authorise assessments and expenditure on services within designated limits.
- Assist and participate in the management of the Duty service and carry out screening of clients to determine criteria to be supported by the service.
- To work as part of the D2A .

Requirements of the Senior Care Manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within adult services
