    Safeguarding and Quality Assurance Officer

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated safeguarding and quality assurance officer to work part-time in Manchester. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum safeguarding and quality assurance officer job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

    Responsibilities of the safeguarding and quality assurance officer:
    - Responsible for effectively chairing statutory reviews, child in need planning meetings and child protection case conferences for children and young people
    - Ensuring that all meetings are held within agreed statutory timescales and are conducted in a structured and effective way, which also ensure that parents, children and young people are able to contribute effectively

    Requirements of the safeguarding and quality assurance officer:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
