Sanctuary Executive is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Public Health Consultant to fill a part-time role in Cambridgeshire.

The pay rate for this locum job is £700 (LTD Company Equivalent) per day and is an initial 3-month contract.

Duties:
- Leading on public health specialist input for older people's health and long term conditions across Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council
- Chairing the 'Ageing well' multi-agency steering group across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, which feeds into both STP and BCF priorities, and providing public health leadership for the steering group's priorities.
- Managing the senior partnership manager 'falls prevention' who is co-ordinating a multi-agency falls prevention programme across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, jointly funded by STP, BCF and Public Health, and supporting her with further development of the programme/trouble shooting etc.
- Representing local authority public health at the STP Clinical Advisory Group - which is composed of senior clinicians across the Cambs & Peterborough system and feeds into the Health and Care Executive (NHS Chief Execs, Local authority People's director and DPH)
- Working closely with the People and Communities Directorate Service Director for Adult Social Care to provide public health advice and evidence on the 'Transforming Lives' programme for older people, and more broadly on health and care demand management agenda.
