    Principal Social Worker, Family Assessment and Support

    Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated principal social worker to work in a family assessment and support team based in Cornwall. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

    The pay rate for this locum principal social worker job is £30 (LTD Company Equivalent) per hour and is an initial 3-month contract.

    You will undertake assessments following referral under S17 and S47, S7 reports and also initiate some public law proceedings. You will provide ongoing support to children and families under child in need and work closely with colleagues in our early help, child protection, and child care teams.

    Requirements of the principal social worker:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
