    Description

    Sanctuary Social Care currently has a permanent vacancy for two Principal Officer to work full-time within a Child Protection and Review Team in Birmingham. As the post holder of this role, you will receive a competitive salary of £42,806 - £53,504 per annum.

    We are looking for experienced, qualified practitioners who are passionate about their work in child protection and who practice with integrity and honesty. You will be committed to reducing the likelihood of significant harm for the most vulnerable children and young people of our city and will promote an inclusive, relationship -based approach, enabling families to attend and actively engage with the Child Protection Conference and planning.

    Requirements of the Principal Officer:
    - Degree or equivalent in social work
    - Current HCPC registration
    - At least 5 years post-qualifying experience in Social Work, particularly safeguarding, and a clear understanding of current social work issues and research.
    - You will have managerial and/or supervisory experience.
    - Experience or knowledge of the Strengthening Families Model would be an advantage.
