Practice Supervisor, Looked After Children

Sanctuary Social Care is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated practice supervisor to work full time within a looked after children's team based in Gateshead. The ideal candidate will possess highly developed specialist knowledge of social work practice in children's services and be registered with the HCPC.

The pay rate for this locum practice supervisor job is to be confirmed and is an initial 3 month contract.

Responsibilities of the practice manager:
- To promote, develop and maintain effective inter-agency working that ensures the provision of well-co-ordinated service delivery
- To contribute to service redesign and transformation ensuring the team is fit for purpose
- To chair meetings, including planning and strategy meetings, that ensures effective and safe decision making, planning and demonstrate the appropriate use of resources

Requirements of the practice manager:
- Degree or equivalent in social work
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant senior level frontline experience within children's services
