Occupational Therapists, Capability Assessments

Sanctuary Health is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated occupational therapists to complete capability assessments for the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) in job centres across Sussex, Berkshire and Surrey.

The starting pay rate for these locum occupational therapy job roles is £27 - £28 per hour (LTD Company Equivalent) and are ongoing contracts.

Duties of the occupational therapists:
- Holding conversations with the work coach and claimant, which will last 45 minutes either by face-to-face, video call or telephone
- Follow up sessions with the claimant including writing notes which are kept by the job centre for data protection
- Assessing claimants that mainly have MSK system and corrective tissues disease or mental/behavioural disorders

Requirements of the occupational therapists:
- Degree or equivalent within occupational therapy
- HCPC registered as an occupational therapist
- Recent post qualifying experience working as an occupational therapist within the NHS
